I am thankful for the courage he showed when he emigrated to this great country from Galway,Ireland. I am thankful to my Irish cousins in Galway, Leitrim, & Trim for keeping his spirit alive. I am thankful for my three wonderful sons (i just wish they would clean their rooms); I am thankful for my terrific (but madening) sisters and brothers; I am thankful I was loved; I am thankful for the good friends I have - those that share a real coffee with me, and those who share a cyber one; I am thankful for my great job, which enables me to look after my children; I am thankful for my friends in Tir na nOg who don't turn me into the *funny farm authorities* for being such a silly lady. Happy Thanksgiving to my Americaaaaaaan friends and loved ones!!!!!!
Most of all ... I give thanks for my Mother, Violet May O'Keefe, who passed away 10 weeks ago. She was an amazing lady ... one I didn't see eye to eye with all my life, but whom I inhertited my my strength from. Nothing was ever too hard for Mum. Rest now, Mum.
