Taking a small space here at Tir, not to glorify war, but to remember an important WWII battle 62 years on. June 6th 1944 was "D-Day" The then greatest seaborne invasion of it's time.
My Dad (RAF Servicing Commando) saw the horrors of war, lost many comrades, but also succeeded in changing the path of history via the united effort of the allied forces. D - Day marked the beginning of the end of World War II and the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany rule.
We will remember them.

As each generation faces a foe,we must still bow our heads to those who answered their call.
