I awoke, my entire body was numb and the piercing nip of the wind cut my face and hands i had no idea as to how long i had been there but i knew i had to get home. there were a few grey clouds in the sky but it was mainly clear and that made it colder. i felt my fingers curl into a frozen grip on the metal handle of the bag and i knew i had to get home quickly,faster. i wondored if anyone was looking for me, had anyone sen the man or whatever it had been hit me. a sense of knew fear dawned on me. being new in this town very few people had gotten to know me and perhaps my dissapearence wouldnt be frowned upon or queried. i started to cry big wet cold tears dribbled down my already moist face, i never really considered myself holy or all thar religious but by god now was i good time to start. i knelt down and began to pray. i prayed to see my home again, my family and friends and to feel the warmth of my bed and food and drink once again rushing down my throat quenching the hunger and thirst of my exhausted body.
