Sorry Daniela don't have the gaelic as they say......... but I could not help notice a pretty weighty combination of words\values... difficult to give or expect all that but I guess it is what a lot of us are looking for alright..good luck!!!!!

You are welcome. BTW Why not sign up for an account? It is free, and it doesn't cost much either.

Hi everyone,
I'm a little confused because I found different
translations for
trust - diseacht agus
faithfulness-cairdeas
are there different translations for trust, faith and confidence
and faithfulness,loyality and fidelity,
I ask because I would like to create a tattoo including the words and it would be pretty bad to have not the meaning I expected. The problem is that we have only one word in German for it but in English there are more and I don't know how it is in Gaelic,so I have to ask again, I'm sorry!
But thanks in advance
Daniela

muinín/iontaoibh - trust,
creideamh - Belief/Faith
cairdeas - Friendship
dílseacht - Loyalty
You may need someone to verify these.
I'm sure there are more than enough experts lurking around Tir.
