Afloat
This section describes a number of formal cruiser courses in which I got the opportunity to exercise all the theory of the shore-based courses in a structured manner.
Face it, most people's cruising 'experience' is confined to grunting over winches or polishing the wheel for a spell - or just being ballast.
A structured training course is a guaranteed way to get hands-on for all aspects of sailing a boat and progress to actually skippering a 50-footer.
